Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Clinical Programmer, you will:

  • Develop, validate, and maintain software using Medidata, Rave, Oracle OC/RDC, Oracle Inform, SAS, and other tools.
  • Generate and manage essential documentation, including specifications, coding, validation, and database setup.
  • Lead development activities within clinical programming projects, collaborating with teams to resolve challenges and meet deadlines.
  • Provide technical support and mentor junior programmers while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist in project planning, resource management, and budgeting, ensuring alignment with study objectives.
  • Perform system integrations, application updates, and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor and resolve workflow alerts, system errors, and performance issues.
  • Participate in client and internal meetings, contributing insights and expertise.
  • Lead programming activities across multiple studies, managing project resources effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix-structured organization is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and Voicemail.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, SAS, C#, or VB is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
