Role Summary
The Senior Analyst – R&D Support is responsible for managing and coordinating global Research & Development (R&D) Capital Expenditure (CapEx) operations, ensuring efficient execution of capital investment projects across Elanco's global R&D network.
The role combines operational excellence, financial administration, project coordination, stakeholder management, SAP-based CapEx management, and business process improvement to support strategic R&D investments and operational transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
CapEx Administration & Financial Operations
Coordinate global R&D CapEx activities in alignment with corporate financial policies.
Manage the complete CapEx lifecycle from request initiation through project completion.
Review and process:
CapEx Requests
Business Justifications
Vendor Verification Requests
New Vendor Setups
Budget Allocations
Ensure compliance with global financial and procurement standards.
Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
Project Coordination & Portfolio Management
Support execution of capital investment projects across global R&D sites.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of activities.
Assist in managing R&D investment portfolios and project pipelines.
Support annual and multi-year capital planning processes.
SAP & ERP Operations
Utilize SAP and ERP systems for:
Purchase Order Creation
Vendor Management
Budget Tracking
Project Tracking
Capital Project Monitoring
Maintain accurate project and financial records.
Support process optimization within ERP systems.
Data Management & Reporting
Develop, maintain, and improve project dashboards and reporting tools.
Generate operational and financial reports for leadership teams.
Analyze project performance metrics and identify trends.
Provide actionable insights through data visualization and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
