Job Overview
Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst – Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) Insights Specialist to join the CoRe Research & Insights team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical capabilities, deep sector understanding, and a passion for generating data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across the global LSHC landscape.
You will collaborate with senior leadership, business teams, and subject matter experts to assess market shifts, identify industry opportunities, and deliver high-impact research that guides major business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver strategic insights across Pharma, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Healthcare Providers, and Payer operations.
Analyze industry trends, competition, innovation, digital transformation, regulatory shifts, and emerging business models.
Develop research solutions that support Deloitte’s thought leadership and client engagement strategies.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Apply financial and strategic frameworks to evaluate growth opportunities and market disruptions.
Manage deliverables through structured planning, cross-functional collaboration, and effective stakeholder communication.
Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
Contribute to innovation and process improvement across the CoRe Research & Insights function.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate degree such as M-Pharma, MBA, MSc Biotechnology, or equivalent life sciences qualification.
4–6 years of professional experience, including at least 3+ years in research, consulting, or professional services within the LSHC industry.
Hands-on exposure to at least two LSHC sub-sectors (Pharma, Medical Devices, Biotech, Providers, Payer operations).
Strong understanding of LSHC business models, value chains, regulatory structures, KPIs, and industry complexities.
Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing senior-level reports and publications.
Strong storyboarding and data visualization skills for building compelling presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and supporting strategic decision-making.
Exposure to Gen AI tools and prompt engineering is an added advantage.
