Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst II is responsible for developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and performing SQL programming to support clinical data management and analytical reporting. The role requires an understanding of clinical trial domains, data integrity, discrepancy management, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will work with clinical teams to deliver actionable insights through data visualization, ensuring accurate and timely data handling across studies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards for clinical trial data visualization.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

  • Analyze Case Report Forms (CRFs), protocols, and study requirements to translate into reporting logic.

  • Perform discrepancy management to maintain high data integrity.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support data insights and decision-making.

  • Conduct data validation and quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for data management workflows and reports.

  • Troubleshoot data or system issues to prevent workflow interruptions.

  • Stay updated with best practices and innovations in data visualization and clinical data analytics.


Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • 4-year degree in business, life sciences, healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics or similar role, ideally within a clinical or healthcare setting.

  • Proficiency in Tableau and Excel for visualization.

  • Strong SQL skills for managing and querying databases.

  • Experience working with clinical trial data.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Power BI, Python, or R.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and clinical trial standards.

  • Certification in data management or clinical data analytics.
