Role Summary:
The Senior Account Executive will act as a key driver of sales growth by delivering Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Global Scientific Operations (GSO) services. This role requires a seasoned business development professional with a solid track record in the CRO industry, who thrives in building client relationships and managing strategic sales initiatives. The position is fully remote within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between ICON and assigned clients, ensuring a consistent and responsive level of support.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client goals and tailor solutions accordingly.

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract closure.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts and drive revenue growth.

  • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction and long-term engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • Experience selling CRO services to biotech and small to mid-sized pharmaceutical companies.

  • Strong background in Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety preferred.

  • Proven success in sales, account management, or client services within clinical research, biotech, or pharma industries.

  • Deep understanding of clinical trial operations, regulatory requirements, and drug development lifecycle.

  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and cultivate long-term partnerships.
