Job Title: Biostatistician

Job Description:

Clinovo is seeking a skilled Biostatistician to support or lead Phase I-IV clinical studies across multiple therapeutic areas, including Immunology, Oncology, Cardiovascular, Infectious Disease, Early Development, or Medical Affairs. The Biostatistician will provide statistical support, analyze data, interpret results, and prepare clinical study reports, including integrated summaries for submissions. The role requires strong communication skills to explain statistical methodologies and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide statistical support to clinical studies across various phases (I-IV).

  • Review analysis datasets and efficacy tables, listings, and figures (TLFs).

  • Perform statistical analyses and interpret the results.

  • Prepare clinical study reports, including integrated summaries for regulatory submissions.

  • Communicate statistical methodologies and the consequences of decisions in lay terms.

  • Collaborate with team members, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are handled efficiently.

  • Serve as an adaptable and flexible team player in a dynamic environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including grammatical and technical writing.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH guidelines).

  • Familiarity with moderately complex statistical methods for clinical trials.

  • Strong individual initiative and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in SAS computing, with familiarity in other statistical computing packages like Query.

  • Strong commitment to quality and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate small teams.

  • Experience solving moderately complex problems.

  • Knowledge of relevant data standards (e.g., CDISC/ADaM).

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

  • PhD in biostatistics or a related field with 1-year relevant experience;
    OR

  • Master’s degree in biostatistics or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience;
    OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in biostatistics or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience;
    OR

  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
