💡 About the Role

Join the Antibody Development Team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, working on cutting-edge molecular, protein, and cell biology methods to develop high-quality reagents. You’ll be responsible for antibody design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing using innovative tools.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Execute meticulous experimental planning for antibody development.
  • Maintain detailed records of results in lab notebooks and data sheets.
  • Stay updated on scientific advancements in antibody engineering and protein biology.
  • Compile and present data in written & oral formats during team meetings.
  • Organize workspace and manage common reagent tracking.
  • Ensure attention to detail and adherence to timelines.

🎓 Required Qualifications

  • Masters (MSc) in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology) with 0-4 years experience OR PhD (submitted within the last year).
  • Strong experience in biochemical & immunoassay workflows:
    • Recombinant protein expression & purification
    • ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, IF, IHC
  • Molecular biology expertise:
    • High-throughput cloning, plasmid vector construction, PCRs, Restriction digestion, Ligation, Transformation
    • Mini/Maxi preps, sequencing
  • Flow cytometry experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in sequence analysis software, MS Office, and statistical tools like GraphPad Prism.
  • Experience in antibody development platforms is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in scientific research.
