About the Team – Protein Biology:
The Protein Biology team focuses on large-scale functional validation of antibodies, emphasizing reagent specificity and quality. Activities include data mining, Western blotting, high-resolution immunofluorescence imaging, immunohistochemistry, ChIP, and gene-silencing. The objective is to validate products for high quality and usability in research applications.


Role & Responsibilities:
Purpose:
The successful candidate will contribute to antibody validation workflows by utilizing protein biology knowledge. This involves validating antibodies for reproducibility using innovative methods and generating datasets that differentiate products in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply protein biology knowledge for antibody validation and characterization.

  • Stay current on developments in antibody validation through literature mining.

  • Work in a fast-paced research setting, maintaining attention to detail and adherence to timelines.

  • Informally lead scientists in a matrix team structure, providing technical supervision, training, and mentoring.

  • Guide experimental design, data interpretation, and protocol development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management, program management, and business development to achieve program objectives.


Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry with 2–3 years of experience, OR

  • Master's degree with 5–10 years of industry experience in relevant research.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in cell and molecular biology workflows.

  • Extensive experience in protein assay development and protein-protein interaction techniques (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation).

  • Strong expertise in Flow Cytometry and ELISA.

  • Working knowledge of Western blotting and Immunofluorescence.

  • Effective communication of research findings and advanced troubleshooting abilities.

  • Experience with antibody development platforms is a plus.
