About the Team – Antibody Development:
The Antibody Team focuses on the development of high-quality, specific antibody reagents using advanced molecular, protein, and cell biology platforms. The team applies cutting-edge methods to generate, validate, and optimize antibodies for use in research and diagnostics.


Role Overview:
As a Scientist II, you will contribute to the molecular biology and sequencing core within the antibody development team. This role focuses on innovating and scaling recombinant antibody workflows by applying next-generation molecular biology and high-throughput sequencing strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute experimental workflows in a high-paced antibody R&D environment

  • Innovate vector design, cloning strategies, and automation methods to enable scale-up

  • Informally lead team members by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting

  • Train and mentor junior scientists in design, experimentation, and data analysis

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., operations, PMs, product teams)

  • Contribute to the development of SOPs and high-throughput cloning and sequencing protocols

  • Drive innovation and operational readiness by developing scalable techniques and workflows


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • PhD with up to 3 years of experience, OR

  • Master’s with up to 8 years of relevant experience

  • Background in life sciences with a focus on antibody development and molecular biology

Preferred Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with recombinant antibody platforms (hybridoma, B-cell, display tech)

  • Proficiency in molecular cloning, vector engineering, and next-generation sequencing (NGS)

  • Strong knowledge of antibody sequencing, codon optimization, and gene-to-protein workflows

  • Experience with automation tools for high-throughput processes is highly desirable

  • Background in managing or working in molecular biology/sequencing core facilities is a plus

  • Track record of publications or postdoctoral work is preferred

  • Skilled in software like MS Office, SnapGene, and statistical tools (e.g., GraphPad Prism)
