About the Team: Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on the engineering and development of high-quality antibodies with strong specificity and performance.
Core activities include:

  • Antibody design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing.

  • Application of innovative molecular, biochemical, and cell biology tools for product development.

  • Delivering advanced product data to support research and enhance reagent quality.


Role Purpose

To contribute to antibody development by focusing on protein performance, purification, and specificity using cutting-edge molecular and protein biology techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program milestones.

  • Maintain accurate and timely laboratory records and data sheets.

  • Conduct regular literature reviews to stay updated with antibody development advances.

  • Compile and present scientific data in written and oral formats.

  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.

  • Ensure attention to detail, quality, and adherence to timelines.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 0–4 years of relevant experience, OR

  • Ph.D. (submitted within the last year) in Protein Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Immunology.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in protein expression and purification.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Affinity, ion-exchange, and size exclusion chromatography.

    • Automated purification systems such as AKTA, NGC, or liquid handlers.

  • Experience in antibody purification and characterization using:

    • SDS-PAGE, SEC-HPLC, and immunoassays (ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence).

  • Familiarity with antibody/protein engineering and mutant design is preferred.

  • Knowledge of structural biology and protein modeling tools (e.g., PyMOL, Schrödinger, Discovery Studio).

  • Exposure to antibody development platforms is desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience through thesis, publications, or project reports.

Additional Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong understanding of statistics and software like GraphPad Prism.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new scientific concepts.


Work Environment

  • Laboratory setting with PPE (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat, etc.) required.

  • Adherence to safety standards and laboratory protocols.
