About the Team – Protein Biology

The Protein Biology Team focuses on large-scale functional validation of antibodies, ensuring superior reagent quality, specificity, and reliability.

Core team activities include:

  • Data mining and processing

  • Western blotting using advanced tools

  • High-resolution immunofluorescence imaging

  • Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)

  • Gene-silencing studies for antibody characterization

The primary goal is product validation and scientific data generation to support high-quality antibody products for global research use.


Role Overview

As a Scientist I – Protein Biology, you will contribute to the antibody validation workflow, focusing on target biology and antibody reproducibility through innovative experimental methods.

You will be responsible for scientific planning, execution, and data communication, ensuring research excellence and alignment with program goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in protein biology for antibody validation and characterization.

  • Design and execute meticulous experiments to achieve validation objectives.

  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and data documentation.

  • Stay current with scientific literature in antibody validation and protein biology.

  • Compile, analyze, and present data in both written and oral formats.

  • Participate actively in team meetings and project reviews.

  • Ensure attention to detail, adherence to timelines, and high-quality output.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree with 2–5 years of experience, or

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology

Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Strong foundation in cell and molecular biology workflows

  • Hands-on experience in protein assay design and development

  • Expertise in protein-protein interaction techniques (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation)

  • Proven experience in immunoassays, including:

    • Western Blotting

    • Immunofluorescence (IF)

    • Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

    • Flow Cytometry

    • ELISA

  • Ability to communicate research data effectively and troubleshoot complex scientific issues

  • Working knowledge of computational biology tools, biological databases, and basic programming languages

Work Environment
