About the Team: Antibody Development

The Antibody Team focuses on the engineering, development, and characterization of high-quality antibodies, ensuring exceptional reagent quality and specificity.

Key functions include:

  • Design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing of antibodies across diverse immunoassay applications.

  • Utilizing advanced tools and technologies to develop next-generation antibody reagents.

  • Supporting product development and data generation to promote research and application-based use.


Role Purpose

To be a core member of the antibody development team, focusing on antibody performance and specificity through innovative molecular, protein, biochemical, and cell biology methodologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to achieve project goals.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in laboratory notebooks and data sheets.

  • Stay updated with recent scientific literature related to antibody development.

  • Compile and present experimental data in written and oral formats during team meetings.

  • Ensure attention to detail, data integrity, and adherence to project timelines.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree with 0–4 years of experience, OR

  • Ph.D. in a Life Sciences field (submitted within the last year).

  • Strong academic background in Protein Biology, Antibody and Protein Conjugation, Protein Design, Protein Purification, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.


Technical Expertise & Skills

  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of protein and antibody conjugation chemistries.

  • Hands-on experience with protein or antibody conjugation to dyes, labels, or reporter tags.

  • Experience in developing new conjugation protocols and site-specific conjugation strategies (desirable).

  • Expertise in protein purification and analysis techniques such as:

    • Affinity chromatography

    • Ion exchange chromatography

    • Size exclusion chromatography (SEC)

    • HPLC

    • SDS-PAGE

  • Familiarity with antibody or protein engineering, rational mutant design, and molecular biology.

  • Exposure to structural biology and protein modeling tools such as PyMOL, Schrödinger, Discovery Studio, or similar software (preferred).

  • Theoretical or practical knowledge of antibody development platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience through publications, project reports, or thesis work.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and statistical software like GraphPad Prism.
