About the Team: Antibody Development

The Antibody Team focuses on the engineering and development of high-quality, specific antibodies. Core activities include:

  • Antibody design and development

  • Purification and conjugation

  • Testing across various immunoassay applications using advanced technologies

The team’s goal is to enhance product quality and generate data that supports advanced research use.


Role Purpose

The Scientist I will be a key contributor to the antibody development team, focusing on reagent performance and specificity using cutting-edge molecular, protein, biochemical, and cell biology techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments to achieve program goals.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate lab records and data sheets.

  • Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on antibody development trends.

  • Compile, analyze, and present scientific data effectively.

  • Participate actively in team discussions and project meetings.

  • Adhere strictly to project schedules and quality standards.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 0–4 years of relevant experience, or

  • Ph.D. (submitted within the last one year) in fields such as Protein Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related disciplines.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong theoretical and hands-on knowledge of protein and antibody conjugation chemistries.

  • Experience performing protein/antibody conjugations to dyes, labels, or reporter tags.

  • Exposure to development of conjugation protocols and site-specific conjugation strategies.

  • Expertise in protein purification using affinity, ion-exchange, SEC, HPLC, and SDS-PAGE techniques.

  • Familiarity with antibody or protein engineering, mutant design, and molecular biology methods.

  • Experience with structural biology tools (e.g., PyMOL, Schrödinger, Discovery Studio) is desirable.

  • Knowledge of antibody development platforms is a plus.

  • Strong documentation, presentation, and statistical analysis skills (MS Office, GraphPad Prism).

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate scientific results clearly.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
