About the Team: Protein Biology

The Protein Biology team focuses on large-scale functional validation of antibodies to ensure reagent quality, reproducibility, and specificity. The team works on techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, ChIP, and gene silencing to provide detailed validation data for antibody products.
The ultimate goal is to create high-quality product information that supports advanced research use.


Role Purpose

The Scientist I will contribute to antibody validation workflows by designing and executing protein biology experiments, validating antibodies for reproducibility, and generating scientific data to support product differentiation. The role requires strong scientific understanding, precise experimentation, and effective communication of findings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform experimental workflows for protein biology and antibody validation

  • Design experiments and manage timelines to meet project goals

  • Maintain detailed experimental records and laboratory notebooks

  • Regularly review and stay updated with relevant scientific literature

  • Compile and present data clearly in reports and meetings

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Follow safety and compliance protocols in all laboratory activities


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology with 2–5 years of experience,
    or

  • Ph.D. in the same fields


Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in cell and molecular biology techniques

  • Experience designing and developing protein assays

  • Hands-on expertise with protein-protein interaction methods (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation)

  • Proven proficiency in immunoassays such as Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Flow cytometry, and ELISA

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot experiments independently

  • Good understanding of computational biology tools, databases, and basic programming

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
