About the Team – Antibody Development

The Antibody Team specializes in:

  • Engineering and development of antibodies

  • Ensuring reagent quality and specificity

  • Conducting design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing of antibodies

  • Utilizing innovative tools and technologies for advanced product development

Goal: To create high-quality antibody products and generate product-specific data to promote research use.


Role Overview

Purpose:
To be an integral part of the antibody development team, focusing on performance and specificity using cutting-edge molecular, protein, biochemical, and cell biology methods.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments meticulously to achieve program goals.

  • Maintain detailed and timely records of experimental data in laboratory notebooks.

  • Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on antibody development advancements.

  • Compile and present data reports (written and oral) in team meetings.

  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to project schedules.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 0–4 years of experience
    OR

  • Ph.D. (submitted within the last one year) in:

    • Protein Biology

    • Molecular Biology

    • Protein Design

    • Protein/Antibody Purification

    • Immunology

    • Biotechnology

    • Biochemistry


Desired Experience & Technical Expertise

Core Competencies

  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of protein expression and purification.

  • Hands-on experience with affinity, ion-exchange, and size-exclusion chromatography.

  • Skilled in automated purification systems (AKTA, NGC, or liquid handlers).

  • Experience in antibody characterization using:

    • SDS-PAGE

    • SEC-HPLC

    • Immunoassays (ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence)

Additional Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of antibody or protein engineering, rational mutant design, and molecular biology techniques.

  • Familiarity with structural biology and tools like:

    • PyMOL

    • Schrödinger

    • Discovery Studio

  • Experience or understanding of antibody development platforms.

  • Prior publications, thesis, or project work supporting relevant technical experience.

Analytical & Computational Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong statistical understanding and familiarity with software like GraphPad Prism.

  • Strong team collaboration and cross-functional coordination abilities.
