This role is part of the Antibody Development Team and involves hands-on scientific contributions across protein biology, antibody production, and immunoassay optimization.

About the Team

The Antibody Team focuses on engineering, developing, purifying, conjugating, and validating high-quality antibodies for research applications. The team uses advanced molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunoassay technologies to deliver high-performance reagents for global scientific use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed experimental plans in alignment with program goals and timelines.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of results in laboratory notebooks and data systems.

  • Stay up to date with scientific literature and advancements in antibody engineering and protein biology.

  • Compile, analyze, and present experimental data in written and oral formats.

  • Participate actively in team discussions, technical reviews, and project meetings.

  • Ensure consistency, precision, and adherence to laboratory schedules and guidelines.

Experience Required

  • 0 to 4 years of hands-on laboratory experience (for Master’s degree holders) in protein biology or related fields.

  • PhD candidates (submitted within the last one year) with relevant experience in protein design, purification, antibody work, or molecular biology are eligible.

  • Experience with protein expression, purification (affinity, ion-exchange, size-exclusion chromatography), and antibody purification techniques.

  • Familiarity with automated purification platforms such as AKTA, NGC, or liquid-handling systems.

  • Practical experience in antibody characterization using SDS-PAGE, SEC-HPLC, ELISA, Western Blot, and immunofluorescence.

  • Desirable experience in antibody or protein engineering, mutant design, molecular biology, and structural biology.

  • Experience using protein visualization tools like PyMOL, Schrödinger, Discovery Studio, or similar platforms is advantageous.

  • Prior academic or industry experience demonstrated through publications, project reports, or thesis work.

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related fields
    OR

  • PhD submitted within the past year with specialization in protein biology or related domains.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong theoretical grounding in protein biology and antibody development.

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with statistical tools including GraphPad Prism.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.

  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently, learn new technologies, and contribute proactively to ongoing research programs.
