Job Summary:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Protein Biology Team focused on large-scale functional validation of antibodies, emphasizing reagent quality and specificity. The role involves antibody validation workflows, target biology understanding, and generating reproducible data using innovative methods to enable market differentiation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to antibody validation workflows ensuring reproducibility and high-quality data.

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program goals.

  • Maintain accurate records in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.

  • Stay updated on scientific literature in antibody validation.

  • Compile and present data in both written and oral formats.

  • Actively participate in team meetings.

  • Maintain attention to detail and adhere to schedules.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s degree with 2–5 years relevant experience OR

  • PhD in molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry

Experience & Skills:

  • Familiar with experimental workflows in cell and molecular biology

  • Experience in protein-protein interaction assays (e.g., co-immunoprecipitation)

  • Proven hands-on experience with immunoassays such as Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry, Flow cytometry, or ELISA

  • Ability to communicate research data clearly and provide technical troubleshooting

  • Good understanding of computational biology tools and basic knowledge of databases and programming languages
