🧪 About the Team – Antibody R&D

The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and developing high-quality, specific antibody reagents. The team is responsible for:

  • Antibody design and development

  • Purification and conjugation

  • Testing across various immunoassay platforms

The mission is to drive advanced product development and generate high-quality data to support scientific research globally.


💼 Role Overview

As a Scientist I, you will be a key contributor to the antibody development team, using innovative tools and techniques in molecular biology, protein science, and cell biology. Your work will focus on improving antibody performance and specificity for a wide range of research applications.


📌 Key Responsibilities

🔬 Scientific Work

  • Conduct and manage experimental planning and execution with precision

  • Document results meticulously in lab notebooks and data sheets

  • Review current literature and stay updated with antibody development trends

  • Compile and present data through written reports and oral presentations

🤝 Team Involvement

  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions

  • Maintain high attention to detail and meet project deadlines


🎓 Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 0–3 years of relevant experience
    OR

  • Fresh PhD (submitted within the last year) in Life Sciences

Relevant Fields:

  • Protein Design

  • Protein Purification

  • Molecular Biology

  • Immunology

  • Biotechnology

  • Biochemistry


🧬 Desired Skills & Experience

✅ Immunoassay Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Western Blotting

    • Immunofluorescence (IF)

    • Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

    • Flow Cytometry

    • ELISA

✅ Molecular & Protein Biology:

  • Experience with:

    • Protein structure-function or mutational analysis

    • Nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and cloning

    • Tools like SnapGene, Geneious, or CLC Workbench

    • Protein purification: Affinity/Ion Exchange Chromatography, SEC, HPLC

    • SDS-PAGE, protein analysis, and affinity measurements

✅ Cell Biology:

  • Experience in:

    • Mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques

    • Maintaining cell lines and primary cells

    • Advanced techniques (e.g., stem cell, differentiation, spheroids)

✅ Additional Assets:

  • Understanding of antibody development platforms

  • Experience with single-cell molecular biology or next-gen sequencing (NGS)

  • Strong data analysis and statistical skills (e.g., GraphPad Prism)

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
