Team Overview: Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and developing high-quality, specific antibodies for use in immunoassay applications. Core functions include:

  • Antibody design, development, purification, and conjugation

  • Application testing using advanced tools and technologies

  • Advanced product development and information generation for research-use products


Role Summary

You will be an integral member of the antibody development team, contributing to innovation in molecular, protein, and cell biology techniques with a specific focus on single cell sorting and flow cytometry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and optimize single-cell sorting workflows

  • Execute detailed experimental plans to meet program goals

  • Maintain accurate documentation in lab notebooks and data sheets

  • Stay current with the latest scientific literature in antibody development

  • Present findings through written reports and oral presentations

  • Participate actively in team discussions and meetings

  • Ensure timely, detail-oriented, and schedule-driven execution


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Immunology) with 0–4 years experience
    OR

  • PhD (submitted within the last year) in a relevant life science field


Desired Experience & Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of immunology and flow cytometry workflows

  • Experience with cell sorting is a plus

  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including:

    • High-throughput cloning

    • Plasmid vector construction

    • PCR, restriction digestion, ligation

    • Bacterial transformation

    • Mini/maxi preps

    • DNA sequencing

Software & Tools:

  • Flow cytometry analysis software: FlowJo, FCSExpress

  • MS Office Suite

  • Statistical tools: GraphPad Prism

Additional Desirable Experience:

  • Exposure to antibody development platforms

  • Published research, project work, or thesis related to the field
