About the Team: Antibody Team

The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and developing antibodies with a deep emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. The team’s core activities include antibody design, purification, conjugation, and testing in a variety of immuno-applications using innovative tools and technologies. The ultimate goal of the program is advanced product development and creating product-specific information to support research.


Role & Responsibilities

As a Scientist I in Molecular Biology, you will be an integral part of the antibody development team, contributing to the performance and specificity of antibodies using molecular, protein, and cell biology methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meticulous experimental planning and execution to meet program goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in antibody development by regularly mining relevant literature.
  • Compile and present data both in written and oral formats.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to schedules.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree with 0-3 years of confirmed experience or a fresh PhD (submitted within the last year) in life sciences, with a focus on molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or related fields.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Molecular Biology Techniques: Experience with PCR, primer and vector design, cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, and analysis.
  • Next Generation Sequencing (NGS): Experience with NGS platforms, including library preparation, handling sequencers, and bioinformatic analysis of sequencing data. Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
  • Immunoassays: Experience or familiarity with assays such as ELISAs, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry, or Immunohistochemistry.
  • Antibody Development Platforms: Theoretical or practical experience is desirable.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and statistical software such as Prism.
