The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled SAS Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will oversee our 20 core, GxP Grid environment, provide advanced support to our End User Support team, and coordinate with infrastructure and security support groups. Additionally, you will manage licenses and provisioning for a small install base of PC SAS. A significant part of your role will involve leading the migration of our on-premise SAS Grid to a cloud-based SAS environment, including handling technology documentation and validation deliverables.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • SAS Administration: Manage and support our GxP Grid environment.
  • End User Support: Oversee and provide advanced guidance to the support team.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with SAS Vendor support as needed.
  • Infrastructure Coordination: Work with infrastructure and security support groups.
  • License Management: Oversee licensing and provisioning for PC SAS.
  • Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of SAS Grid to a cloud-based environment, handling documentation and validation processes.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years in managing or supporting complex IT systems in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in Good Clinical or Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) and SAS administration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud applications and strong English communication skills.
  • Education: BA or BS in Information Systems, Technical, or Biological Sciences.
  • Desirable: Experience with Clinical Programming systems in a pharmaceutical environment.

This position reports to the Manager of IT Service and Support.
