Role Overview

We are seeking a Safety Systems Specialist (Argus Safety Consultant) to join our team in Bangalore. The role focuses on safety system implementation, configuration, support, and migration, ensuring high-quality service delivery for internal and external clients. This position requires expertise in Argus Safety systems, pharmacovigilance operations, and regulatory compliance, along with strong technical and analytical skills.

The Safety Systems Specialist will actively contribute to system upgrades, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration, reporting, and end-user support, while maintaining compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practices, internal SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure Argus Safety systems for client projects and business operations.

  • Maintain and document system configurations based on initial requirements and updates.

  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports from safety databases.

  • Conduct data extraction activities, including PSURs, DSURs, and periodic safety listings.

  • Participate in system migrations, change management, and training initiatives.

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and prepare relevant documentation.

  • Monitor system performance and mailbox queries, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.

  • Provide guidance and training to team members on technical and functional aspects of the safety systems.

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory compliance (Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, EC Directives).

  • Support ticket management, system upgrades, and functional enhancements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PV, IT, and clinical operations, to optimize system functionality.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or IT/Computing.

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Argus Safety systems.

  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system upgrades/configurations.

  • Experience in validated document management systems and system operations support.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

  • Understanding of system integration and PV processes.

  • Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle numerical data accurately.

  • Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical or pharmacovigilance background.

  • Knowledge of SQL programming language.

  • Experience with ticket support applications and end-user training.

  • Prior exposure to hybrid work environments and collaborative global teams.
