Safety Scientist – Pharmacovigilance Role at ICON (Bangalore)

You will play a pivotal role in pharmacovigilance, ensuring the safety of clinical trial participants by conducting surveillance, authoring safety documentation, and supporting regulatory submissions.
This is a unique opportunity to work with international teams and contribute to drug safety strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Perform safety surveillance activities and interpret safety data
Author safety management plans, risk minimization strategies, and aggregate reports
Conduct literature reviews, signal detection, and validation
Draft and review product reference safety documents (IBs, CCDS)
Collaborate on Risk Management Plans (RMPs) and REMS
Review safety sections of protocols, safety listings, and ICSRs
Support audit readiness, training, SOP development, and compliance tracking
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field
Proven experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety
Deep knowledge of ICH-GCP, GVP, and safety surveillance guidelines
Familiarity with aggregate safety reporting and regulatory documentation
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
