Your Role

As a Senior Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Process R&D, Custom Synthesis, Scale-Up & Pilot Plant operations.

  • Kilo Lab Production activities.

  • Product characterization using IR, NMR, HPLC, and Mass spectrometry.

  • Product planning and scheduling to meet project requirements.

  • Process improvements and troubleshooting.

  • Conducting organic chemical synthesis with a focus on efficiency and safety.


Who You Are

Education

  • M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry.

Experience

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in:

    • Process R&D, custom synthesis, scale-up, pilot plant, and kilo lab.

    • Small-scale catalog production.

Key Expertise

  • Knowledge of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry, and asymmetric synthesis.

  • Hands-on experience with 1L to 50L scale reactions, including workup, purification, and product characterization.

  • Skilled in analytical techniques: NMR, IR, GC, HPLC, Mass, elemental analysis.

  • Experience handling pyrophoric & moisture-sensitive reactions up to 20L scale.

  • Ability to manage independent reactions during shifts.

  • Expertise in purification techniques: high-vacuum distillation, recrystallization, column chromatography.

  • Strong background in process development, scale-up to pilot plant, and technology transfer.

  • Knowledge and practical experience with chemical industry safety standards.
