Biostatistician at Parexel
As a member of Parexel’s Biostatistics group, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of new health treatments by applying statistical methodologies and data analysis to ensure the safety and efficacy of these treatments. Your contributions will be critical in research design, analytical strategies, protocol development, and statistical analysis plans. You’ll work in a global, cross-functional team environment that encourages idea-sharing and continuous learning. Key Accountabilities
Project Leadership: Coordinate and lead project teams to ensure successful completion of projects within timelines and budget.
Client Interaction: Act as the primary contact for clients on statistical and contractual issues, ensuring their needs are met.
Quality Control: Perform quality control (QC) on derived datasets, tables, figures, and data listings produced by other team members, checking your work for first-time quality.
Advanced Statistical Methods: Apply advanced statistical methods and lead the production and QC of randomizations, analysis plans, statistical reports, and statistical sections of integrated clinical reports.
Independent Statistician Support: Provide supporting statistical analysis as a non-voting independent statistician for Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) reviews.
Business Development: Contribute to business development by providing support in study design, sample size calculations, and budget development. Attend and actively contribute to internal and client meetings, bid defenses, and other project-related discussions.
Travel and Client Engagement: Travel and participate in client meetings, presenting analysis concepts and discussing study results as needed.

Knowledge & Experience
Educational Requirements: PhD in Statistics or related discipline with 3+ years of experience, or MS in Statistics with 5+ years of experience.
Language Proficiency: Competent in written and oral English (and possibly additional languages depending on the region).
Technical Expertise: Prior experience with SAS programming is required, and experience with clinical trials is preferred.
