Job Title:

RN or LPN Clinical Research Nurse – Madison, WI (On-Site)

Job Summary:

Fortrea, a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO), is hiring RN, LPN, and Paramedics for its Clinical Research Unit in Madison, WI. This full-time, on-site position offers exposure to cutting-edge drug development, hands-on clinical trial experience, and close interaction with healthy volunteer participants across multiple study types such as first-in-human and food effect studies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature assessments.

  • Prepare and accurately record ECGs/Holters.

  • Collect and process biological samples according to protocols.

  • Monitor participant meals for dietary compliance.

  • Assist with room and equipment preparation.

  • Support participant screening procedures as required.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment.

  • Adapt quickly to changes in protocol and study priorities.

  • Document clinical activities in electronic systems without error.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Certification: EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA preferred.

  • 0–1 year of relevant clinical or healthcare experience.

  • Paramedic certification mandatory (if applying for Paramedic role).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, protocol-driven environment.

  • Strong adaptability and prioritization skills.

  • Proficiency with technology and electronic data capture systems.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
