Position Overview

We are seeking Research Nurses (RN/LPN) and Paramedics who enjoy working in fast-paced, team-oriented clinical settings.
This is a clinic-based role offering exposure to a diverse range of Phase I studies such as:

  • Ascending dose

  • First-in-human

  • Food effect

  • Drug-drug interaction studies

Each day brings a new learning opportunity and hands-on involvement in clinical research.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vital sign measurements: blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, weight, and temperature.

  • Conduct venipuncture and ECG/Holter preparation and recording.

  • Collect, process, and distribute biological samples per study protocol.

  • Monitor meals to ensure participant dietary compliance.

  • Assist in screening and preparation of clinical rooms and medical equipment.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

  • Adhere strictly to study protocols and timelines.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with current state licensure.

  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.

Preferred Certifications

  • EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification preferred.

  • Paramedics must be certified.

Experience

  • 0–1 year of related experience (clinical or research).

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts in a clinical/lab setting.


Work Environment

  • Clinical/laboratory environment with exposure to biological fluids and electrical office equipment.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required (gloves, eyewear, garments).

  • Occasional domestic travel or site visits.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or remain stationary for 10–12 hours/day.

  • Frequent repetitive hand movements for equipment operation.

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, or twisting.

  • Ability to lift up to 15–20 lbs (e.g., laptops, luggage).

  • Regular and consistent attendance required.

  • Varied hours based on study needs.
