We are seeking a Research Nurse I (Per Diem) in Miami, FL, fluent in English and Spanish, to join our clinical research team. This role is essential for ensuring participant safety, providing high-quality clinical support, and contributing to the success of our ongoing studies.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide front-line clinical care and support for healthy research participants.

• Conduct IV insertions, venipuncture, and medication administration (IV, IM, SubQ, Oral).

• Monitor vital signs, ECGs, telemetry, and collect physiological data accurately.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, documenting observations and participant responses.

• Guide participants through informed consent, ensuring understanding and compliance.

• Respond promptly and calmly to adverse events or emergencies to safeguard participant wellbeing.

• Maintain readiness of emergency medications and clinical supplies.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support study objectives and participant safety.

• Contribute to a solutions-focused, supportive team environment through proactive communication and engagement.


Required Qualifications & Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Associate (ASN) or Bachelor (BSN) in Nursing.

1–2 years of nursing experience in clinical, research, or hospital environments preferred.

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.

• Skilled in IV therapy, patient assessment, and clinical procedures.

• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work days, nights, and weekend rotations as required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel; familiarity with clinical software preferred.

• Experience in clinical research or regulatory environments is an asset.


Schedule & Location

• 8–12 hour shifts, day or night based on clinic needs.

• 2 weekends per month.

    (Candidates must be flexible to work at either location based on clinic requirements.)
