Job Overview

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a motivated Research Associate – R&D (Peptides) to support peptide research and development activities at its Navi Mumbai facility. This role offers hands-on exposure to peptide synthesis and purification while working in compliance with established protocols, safety standards, and quality systems. It is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in peptide R&D within a global CDMO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Piramal Group’s core values, Process Safety Framework (PSF), safety guidelines, and quality standards

  • Complete all assigned technical and compliance trainings within defined timelines

  • Execute laboratory experiments related to peptide synthesis and purification as per approved protocols

  • Accurately document experimental activities and ensure timely online record maintenance

  • Deliver assigned project and work-related tasks within agreed timelines

  • Provide operational and technical support to team members when required

  • Work in shifts as per project or operational requirements

  • Monitor and report process variations observed during peptide purification and synthesis

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline

  • 0–2 years of experience in research, laboratory, or R&D environments

  • Academic or hands-on exposure to peptide synthesis and purification is preferred

  • Fresh graduates with strong foundational knowledge and laboratory skills are encouraged to apply

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of peptide synthesis and purification principles

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow structured R&D processes

  • Flexibility to support shift-based work when required
