Job Overview
Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Research Associate – R&D (Peptides) to support peptide research and development activities in a regulated laboratory environment. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on exposure to peptide synthesis, purification, and process monitoring, while working in alignment with established quality, safety, and compliance standards.
The position provides structured learning opportunities and active participation in ongoing R&D projects within a globally recognized pharmaceutical organization.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Laboratory Operations
Assist in peptide synthesis and purification experiments as per approved protocols and development plans.
Monitor and record process variations observed during peptide purification and synthesis activities.
Execute assigned experimental work accurately and within defined timelines.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of experimental data, ensuring records are updated in electronic systems without delay.
Follow GMP, safety, quality, and data integrity requirements during all R&D activities.
Adhere strictly to Piramal core values, PSF guidelines, laboratory safety standards, and quality policies.
Training & Collaboration
Complete all mandatory technical, safety, and compliance trainings as assigned.
Support team members during experimental execution and project-related tasks when required.
Work in shift-based schedules, as needed, to support R&D operations.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is required.
Experience Requirements
0–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, peptide, or chemical R&D laboratories is preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong academic knowledge and laboratory exposure may also be considered.
Key Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of peptide synthesis and purification principles is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy and quality focus.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented R&D environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn new techniques, adapt to evolving processes, and work in shifts as required.
