Job Overview

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Research Associate – Analytical Development to join its analytical laboratories in Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in analytical instrumentation, method development, and compliance with global quality standards (GxP).

The position involves supporting analytical development activities for APIs and drug products, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration of analytical instruments as per approved calibration schedules

  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, Dissolution, FTIR, UV-Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer Auto Titrator, and Auto Titrator

  • Conduct routine analysis of development samples and laboratory stability samples

  • Execute API method evaluation, verification, and solubility studies

  • Perform cleaning verification method development activities

  • Support analytical method development for drug product formulations

  • Conduct verification of analytical methods in compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Prepare test procedures and analytical documentation for routine development analysis

  • Report analytical data accurately and submit results for review and approval

  • Adhere strictly to cGLP, GMP, GDP, and GLP practices in all laboratory activities


Education and Experience Requirements

  • M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
    OR

  • M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality Assurance, or Chemistry

  • Experience: 1–4 years of relevant experience in analytical development or quality control laboratories within the pharmaceutical or CDMO industry (experience range may vary based on internal evaluation)


Required Technical Skills

  • Hands-on operation of HPLC, GC, Dissolution, FTIR, UV, and Karl Fischer titration systems

  • Strong understanding of analytical method development, verification, and validation principles

  • Knowledge of GxP guidelines including GMP, GDP, and GLP

  • Ability to interpret analytical data and maintain accurate laboratory documentation

  • Familiarity with laboratory safety, data integrity, and compliance requirements
