Job Summary

ICON plc is hiring a full-time Research Assistant (Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant) to support early-phase clinical trials in San Antonio, TX. This role involves direct participation in clinical trial activities such as data collection, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal for candidates with certification and experience in allied health, this is a day-shift, on-site opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare research.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with clinical trial planning and execution

  • Collect and manage patient data

  • Conduct literature reviews and basic data analysis

  • Maintain organized and compliant research documentation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet study timelines

  • Support creation of study reports, presentations, and manuscripts


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Certification: CMA, Phlebotomy Technician, EMT, Paramedic, or LVN

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in allied healthcare settings preferred

  • Strong data management and documentation skills

  • Proficiency in research and data entry software

  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
