Regional Medical Advisor – Mumbai, India

Job Summary:

Join a leading pharmaceutical organization as a Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) in Mumbai. This field-based role is ideal for healthcare professionals with a strong background in pharmacology or allied sciences who are passionate about clinical research, medical communication, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), support post-marketing studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape therapeutic strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and build long-term relationships with regional and national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

  • Deliver unbiased, scientifically accurate presentations to physicians and HCPs

  • Design and execute high-science medical education activities

  • Support post-marketing clinical studies and real-world data projects

  • Provide scientific input for clinical protocols, registries, and phase IV studies

  • Act as a scientific resource for HCPs, responding to medical information requests

  • Monitor industry trends and gather intelligence on competitor products and market dynamics

  • Support Medical and Commercial teams with scientific insights to inform brand strategies

  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to execute therapy-shaping initiatives

  • Participate in congresses, scientific meetings, and internal training programs

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and corporate policies


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Pharmacology or Allied Life Sciences (Medical background preferred)

  • Excellent communication and scientific presentation skills

  • Strong understanding of clinical research methodology and regulatory environment

  • Solid pharma industry knowledge with stakeholder relationship management

  • Strong integrity, adaptability, and initiative

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

  • Ability to work effectively in a field-based, cross-functional environment
