Principal Clinical Programmer (Rave/Veeva) – Remote India
Job Summary
Syneos Health is hiring an experienced Principal Clinical Programmer with expertise in Rave or Veeva EDC for a fully remote role in India. This position focuses on leading and supporting clinical data programming activities across global clinical trials. If you have 8+ years of experience in end-to-end EDC build and programming with strong leadership in multi-study environments, this is your opportunity to work with a globally recognized pharmaceutical solutions provider.
Key Responsibilities
Lead clinical programming activities using Rave/Veeva EDC.
Design, validate, and maintain databases and clinical systems.
Manage application updates, user acceptance testing, and system integration.
Coordinate programming deliverables across multiple clinical trials.
Participate in bid defenses, sponsor audits, and study oversight.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
Mentor and manage junior programmers.
Support vendor management and SLA monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Life Sciences or related field.
Minimum 8 years of end-to-end clinical programming experience.
Hands-on expertise with Rave or Veeva EDC, edit checks, migrations, PPC, and custom functions.
Strong leadership and multi-study management experience.
Knowledge of programming languages like PL/SQL, SAS, C#, VB (preferred).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
