About the Role:

ICON plc, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research leader, is looking for a Principal Clinical Data Science Programmer with expertise in Elluminate to join its high-performing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data review and cleaning capabilities for sponsor-led Phase I–IV clinical trials using sponsor-specific technologies.

  • Support efficient study execution and informed decision-making by leveraging emerging approaches in data analytics.

  • Participate in technical and process improvement initiatives related to data reporting and analytics across Data Science.

  • Collaborate with external vendors that provide data reporting and analytical capabilities.

  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues concerning clinical data reporting and analytics.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.

  • Industry experience in clinical research (pharma/CRO) involving global clinical trials, systems, or process initiatives.

  • Prior experience with Elluminate or CluePoints reporting platforms.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a remote or Bangalore-based setup with global teams and stakeholders.
