Role Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate to join our Life Sciences R&D vertical in Chennai. This role involves supporting pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring the safety of pharmaceutical products by monitoring, assessing, and reporting adverse events. You will work closely with your team and supervisor to maintain compliance with global regulatory standards and client-specific guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submission, and follow-ups for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in the safety database.

  • Detect, evaluate, and prevent adverse effects related to pharmaceutical products.

  • Follow established guidelines and protocols to solve routine pharmacovigilance problems.

  • Communicate and collaborate within the team and with supervisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Maintain regulatory compliance, documentation, and adherence to SOPs.

  • Work in rotational shifts as required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences.

  • Experience: 0–1 years in pharmacovigilance or drug safety operations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance operations and regulatory compliance.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle routine data accurately.

  • Good organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
