About the Role

As a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate, you will be part of Accenture's Life Sciences R&D vertical, focusing on Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Surveillance. You will work with leading biopharma companies to support drug safety processes and improve patient outcomes.

You will handle case processing activities for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in alignment with global regulatory requirements and client guidelines. Your responsibilities will include case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, submission, and follow-up of reports.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage affiliate mailbox communications and reconcile reports as per defined processes.

  • Conduct follow-ups for both serious and non-serious cases.

  • Perform ICSR case processing, including:

    • Case intake and triage

    • Data entry and quality checks

    • MedDRA coding

    • Case submission and follow-up tracking

  • Ensure compliance with client-specific SOPs and global regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate within a team and report to a direct supervisor.

  • Work in rotational shifts, if required.


Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background:

    • B.Sc.

    • Bachelor of Pharmacy

    • Bachelor of Physiotherapy

  • Experience:

    • 0 to 2 years (freshers can apply)

  • Strong learning agility

  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment

  • Excellent team collaboration skills

  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance processes is an added advantage
