Position Overview

Coastal Kids, in partnership with Pediatric Associates, is seeking a Per Diem Pediatrician to join our outpatient pediatric care team in Ventura County. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care to children from newborns to college students at our offices, including Surfside Pediatrics, Rolling Oaks Pediatrics, and Los Robles Pediatric Medical Group.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pediatric care in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with a dedicated team of Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families.
Use eClinical Works as the EMR system to document patient information.
Perform duties in accordance with the Pediatric Associates care philosophy of excellence, empathy, and innovation.

Physician Requirements

Degree: M.D. or D.O. degree required.
Licensing:
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- Unrestricted California-specific DEA license.
Certification:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified within five years of completing training.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as required for hospital appointment.
Experience: Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved post-graduate residency in Pediatrics, or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $100/hour
