Your Role

As a Junior Attorney / Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting Biorasi’s legal and contractual operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the development, amendment, and maintenance of contract templates for various agreements (e.g., clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, work orders) tailored to global/local legal standards.
  • Supporting contract management processes, including drafting, negotiating, and executing agreements while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Taking primary responsibility for confidentiality agreements, including preparation, negotiation, execution, and maintenance, under VP Legal guidance.
  • Utilizing the contract management system to create workflows for various contract types, generate reports, and streamline processes.
  • Researching legal and regulatory issues as requested.
  • Providing legal support to Biorasi’s General Counsel and other members of the Legal branch.

Your Profile

  • Education:
    • For Junior Attorney: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university in India. Registration with the Bar Council of India is advantageous.
    • For Paralegal: Diploma or certification in paralegal studies preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1–3 years of contract paralegal experience (Level 1) or 3–5 years (Level 2) within the Indian legal system.
    • Familiarity with Indian legal procedures and documentation related to clinical research organizations.
    • Experience negotiating clinical trial agreements within a CRO or pharmaceutical organization preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Fluent in English (oral and written) and applicable local business language.
    • Strong legal research skills, with a focus on Indian law.
    • Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
    • High integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software commonly used in India.
