Outpatient Pharmacist - Alaska

Location: Alaska
Company: Rx Relief
Salary: Starting at $90.00 per hour + $17.50 hourly stipend
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM)
Licensure Requirements: Active state license, must apply for Alaska Pharmacist License after hire
Education Required: PharmD
Experience Required: 1+ years (new grads welcome)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Pharmacy Operations: Ensure daily pharmacy workflow, maintain quality control standards, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, evaluate, and manage pharmacy staff to maintain a high level of performance.
  • Patient and Healthcare Relationships: Foster positive relationships with patients, doctors, and insurance companies.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure proper stocking and inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Prescription Processing: Process prescriptions accurately and in compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Must have an active, open, and in good standing license in any state. Must apply for an Alaska Pharmacist License after starting.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Education: PharmD required.
  • Drug/Background Check: Must be willing to submit to background and drug screenings.
