Job Overview

This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate billing, timely account processing, and reduction of payer rejections across healthcare revenue cycle workflows.

The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise in US medical billing, payer processes, and team coordination within a fast-paced healthcare services environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end US medical billing operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to defined turnaround times (TAT)

  • Oversee billing of medical accounts with a focus on quality, compliance, and payer guidelines

  • Handle and resolve payer rejections, including Medicare and Medicaid claims, within defined timelines

  • Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and rejection trends to drive continuous process improvement

  • Work effectively in a 24×7 operational environment, including night shifts as required

  • Utilize analytical skills to identify gaps, root causes, and operational improvements

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and client-specific billing requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support leadership in achieving operational goals


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university

  • 6–10 years of experience in US medical billing or healthcare RCM operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing guidelines

  • Proven experience in managing payer rejections and billing accuracy


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of US healthcare revenue cycle management processes

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, peers, and senior leadership

  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, performance-driven healthcare environment
