Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operational Process Optimization Specialist to support process improvement, operational modeling, and compliance initiatives across global clinical research operations.

The role focuses on documenting and optimizing end-to-end business processes, improving operational efficiency, ensuring audit readiness, and supporting cross-functional stakeholders in regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities

Process Documentation & Modeling

  • Document and maintain end-to-end business processes using standardized modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).

  • Develop clear process maps and visual models for current-state workflows.

  • Contribute to future-state process design and operational transformation initiatives.

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Support process optimization initiatives across clinical and operational functions.

  • Identify inefficiencies, risks, and gaps in existing workflows.

  • Analyze process data to recommend improvements and drive operational efficiency.

  • Track effectiveness of implemented process changes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define process improvements.

  • Support design and optimization of processes, systems, training, and communication materials.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders in regulated and complex environments.

Compliance & Quality

  • Conduct process and quality assessments to identify compliance risks.

  • Support audit readiness by ensuring accurate and complete documentation.

  • Maintain procedural documents in alignment with regulatory requirements (GxP, clinical standards).

Reporting & Documentation

  • Update and maintain SOPs and process documentation based on approved changes.

  • Ensure traceability and consistency of all process documentation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support small to medium-scale improvement initiatives.

  • May provide guidance to junior team members.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in process analysis, process mapping, quality systems, or operational support.

  • Clinical research experience across study lifecycle preferred.

  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies.

  • Hands-on experience in BPMN and process mapping tools.

  • Ability to translate workflows into structured process models and documentation.

  • Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP, clinical research, pharma).

  • Experience analyzing operational or process data.
