Overview

GSK’s US Oncology team is seeking an experienced Oncology Account Manager to manage sales and business activities within the Minneapolis and Fargo territory. This role requires entrepreneurial-minded leaders who can drive sales, strengthen customer relationships, and implement strategic business plans.

As part of GSK Oncology, you will help redefine expectations in cancer care, delivering meaningful impact for patients, healthcare providers, and the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive area sales results and ensure open patient access to GSK therapies.

  • Develop and execute area business plans to achieve revenue goals.

  • Identify and engage key prescribers and account drivers within the territory.

  • Promote GSK therapies and company image through proactive customer engagement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations) to maximize brand availability and exposure.

  • Partner with Regional Sales Director to plan and execute activities that increase customer access.

  • Lead initiatives for successful launch and/or ongoing promotion of branded products.


Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in Biologic/Specialty sales or Clinical Oncology.

  • Oncology education, patient care experience, and direct physician interaction.

  • Valid Driver’s License (driving is essential).

  • Reside within the territory; no relocation assistance provided.

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 30%, including overnight/weekend travel as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years Oncology or Specialty sales experience, preferably with Health System/Institutional exposure.

  • Experience in product marketing, specialty pharmacy, payer, and state society interactions.

  • Strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of management and teams.
