Position Overview

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a qualified Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to provide in-home clinical and diagnostic services across Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This per diem role is ideal for healthcare professionals who value flexible scheduling, independent field work, and patient-focused service delivery.

As part of this role, you will travel locally to patient homes to perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specialized diagnostic screenings that support treatment adherence and ongoing care. All patient scheduling and coordination are managed by IQVIA, enabling you to focus fully on delivering high-quality clinical services.


Role Highlights

  • Per diem, travel-based position with flexible working hours

  • No minimum monthly visit requirement

  • Hourly compensation includes both appointment time and travel time (minimum paid: 2 hours)

  • Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate

  • Local travel within designated geographic areas


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home specimen collection, labeling, and transportation according to established protocols

  • Adhere to laboratory safety standards and ensure timely delivery of all specimens

  • Conduct trained diagnostic assessments such as EKGs and macular edema screenings (training provided)

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant mobile working environment

  • Manage and replenish clinical supplies as needed

  • Submit accurate and timely visit documentation and coordinate with IQVIA’s clinical teams

  • Report adverse events, product concerns, and patient inquiries per internal and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate mileage and visit logs for reimbursement and compliance


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings (required)

  • Minimum 1 year of EKG experience (preferred)

  • Certification as CMA or CPT preferred; state-issued certification required in Washington or Louisiana

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for transporting diagnostic equipment

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 100 miles for home visits

  • Proficiency with medical equipment and standard clinical documentation practices

  • Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Must pass background check and drug screening post-offer


Experience Required

  • 2–4 years of relevant clinical experience, including phlebotomy

  • Experience in home health, mobile healthcare, or diagnostic services preferred

  • Prior EKG handling experience highly beneficial


Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $25.00 per hour
    Actual compensation may vary based on experience, geographic location, qualifications, and scheduling. Additional incentives or benefits may be applicable depending on assignment.
