The role involves designing, executing, and managing systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and targeted literature searches to support clinical development and medical affairs initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and manage systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and targeted literature searches.

  • Collaborate with project leads to refine research questions and develop literature review protocols.

  • Design and implement literature search strategies across electronic databases such as PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library, as well as grey literature sources including conference proceedings and regulatory databases.

  • Screen abstracts and full-text publications based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria using PICO methodology.

  • Conduct critical appraisal of studies to assess quality, risk of bias, and heterogeneity for inclusion in evidence synthesis.

  • Develop and review PRISMA flow diagrams to document study selection processes.

  • Extract, analyze, and synthesize data from selected publications using predefined templates and perform meta-analyses when applicable.

  • Prepare evidence tables, scientific reports, figures, and presentation materials interpreting research findings and trends.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of all deliverables in compliance with scientific and regulatory standards.

Required Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in medical writing, systematic literature review, evidence synthesis, or related clinical research activities.

  • Hands-on experience in systematic literature reviews, meta-analysis, and literature search methodologies.

  • Experience working with biomedical databases such as PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library.

  • Strong understanding of PICO framework, PRISMA guidelines, and evidence-based research methodologies.

  • Experience in data extraction, study appraisal, and scientific report preparation.

  • Familiarity with clinical development, medical affairs, or health outcomes research is preferred.

Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, or related scientific discipline.
