Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Opportunity in Endocrinology/Rare Disease – Inizio Engage

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will be integral to fostering strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), providing scientific support, and contributing to impactful research and educational initiatives that lead to optimized patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead KOL relationships in endocrinology/rare disease to strengthen the company’s reputation as a scientifically innovative partner

  • Provide scientific support for pre-launch initiatives such as medical congresses, advisory boards, and educational events

  • Establish and maintain strategic scientific relationships with KOLs and facilitate connections with internal teams

  • Gather medical and clinical insights to inform research, development, and future plans

  • Identify opportunities for scientific growth through initiatives like investigator-initiated trials and CME programs

  • Maintain a high level of medical-scientific knowledge in endocrinology/rare disease to interpret and disseminate relevant data

  • Contribute to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and responses to standard response letters (SRLs) in a balanced manner

  • Tactical delivery of medical programs to internal teams (Marketing, Sales, etc.) and external audiences (healthcare professionals, patients, etc.)

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Terminal degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O.) preferred; candidates with advanced degrees (PA, APRN) and relevant experience are also considered

  • 3+ years of MSL experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

  • Prior experience in endocrinology and/or rare disease, including KOL development, investigator-initiated clinical trials, publications, and educational programs

  • Experience in pre-launch initiatives and other Medical Affairs functions like Publication Planning and Scientific Communications

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time with a valid driver’s license

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to establish strong relationships and work across teams to deliver insights and drive strategy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
