2. Strategic Medical Communication Development

  • Oversee the design and delivery of scientifically accurate, visually engaging medical materials — including posters, infographics, publications, videos, and slide decks.

  • Partner with medical writers and scientific experts to translate complex scientific data into accessible visual content.

  • Ensure adherence to Pfizer’s brand, compliance, and regulatory standards across all deliverables.

  • Align design strategies with therapeutic area objectives and global communication goals.

3. Project Management

  • Lead multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.

  • Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with internal expectations and client needs.

4. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with internal/external standards, brand guidelines, and regulatory norms.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.

  • Measure and report key performance indicators such as timelines, productivity, and utilization.

5. Innovation & Best Practices

  • Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, including AI, AR/VR, and multimedia innovations.

  • Promote the adoption of next-gen creative tools and digital workflows across the team.

  • Introduce innovative design methodologies to increase visual impact and storytelling in medical communications.

  • Drive creative excellence while maintaining scientific accuracy.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or Communication Design.

  • 8+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in medical communications or healthcare.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing creative teams in fast-paced environments.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Corel Draw, Figma, and other digital design tools.
