Job Title: Manufacturing Packaging Process Technician – Weekend Nights
Location: Spokane, WA
Shift: Friday - Sunday & every other Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Description:
The Manufacturing Packaging Process Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products during inspection and operation of critical packaging equipment in the SVP I&P facility. Technicians will work in adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspection: Perform routine hand inspections of products, ensuring quality and compliance with established standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor inspection, taper, and packaging equipment. Conduct equipment checks and minor adjustments as needed.
  • Documentation: Complete accurate production records and operational checks in accordance with GMP and SOPs.
  • Process and Equipment Set-up: Responsible for equipment set-up, changeovers, and clean-up for production runs.
  • Training & Safety: Participate in required training to ensure compliance with GMP standards. Ensure the work area remains clean and safe.
  • Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Specialist.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing experience preferred. Manufacturing production and equipment operation experience is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to follow GMP and SOP guidelines.
    • Legible handwriting and basic computer skills.
    • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate inspection and packaging equipment.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and pass vision acuity tests.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to work in a repetitive environment, with prolonged sitting and standing.
    • Ability to work with tasks that may require frequent work above the shoulders.
