Location: Spokane, WA
Shift: Weekday Nights, Monday – Wednesday & every other Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Packaging Process Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products through the inspection, packaging, and operation of critical processing equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Quality Control:

    • Pass the hand inspection qualification program and all Dabrico inspection quadrants within 90 days of employment.
    • Conduct manual and semi-automatic inspections of products at assigned areas to ensure the production of quality pharmaceutical products.
  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

    • Operate inspection, taper, and packaging equipment as required within the SVP I&P facility.
    • Perform minor adjustments to equipment and ensure all operational checks are completed.
    • Set up, change over, and clean equipment for scheduled production runs.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Accurately document all production processes on production records using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
    • Account for product components at appropriate stages of the production process.
  • Training & Compliance:

    • Receive necessary training for assigned activities, ensuring continuous compliance with SOPs and cGMP standards.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical packaging, manufacturing production, or equipment operation is highly preferred.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, cGMPs, and maintain legible documentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail with legible handwriting.
  • Must pass a vision acuity test and meet color deficiency standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform repetitive tasks, including prolonged sitting and standing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Corrected near-vision of 14/14 or better.
  • Ability to work in a production environment with repetitive activities and frequent work above the shoulders.
