    Position Summary

    The Transactional Data Operations Manager will manage challenges in transactional data across BMS sites, CMOs, and 3PLs. The role focuses on analyzing, mitigating, and sustaining transactional data operations to ensure compliance and efficiency. It involves leading data work streams for supply chain compliance initiatives, digitization strategy development, and supporting activities such as divestitures, acquisitions, and product life cycles.

    Key Responsibilities

    Transactional Data Operations

    • Manage the transactional data operations workstream to achieve objectives (e.g., right first time).
    • Maintain technical solutions to ensure compliance with global transactional regulatory requirements.
    • Build and sustain strong cross-functional relationships (e.g., Logistics, O2C, Master Data, Packaging, IT, Quality).

    Data Work Streams and Compliance

    • Support supply chain compliance implementations and continuous improvement efforts.
    • Collaborate with partners for new product introductions and existing product sustainability.
    • Perform analysis and recommend mitigation strategies to address partnership challenges.
    • Ensure adherence to market-dependent commercial change management processes.

    Daily Operational Management

    • Manage day-to-day transactional data issues for commercial products.
    • Develop and implement efficient and sustainable transactional data operations.
    • Monitor and assess technical processes to maintain compliance and operational integrity.

    Process Improvement and Reporting

    • Propose and execute process improvements to address operational gaps.
    • Create standardized processes for transactional data capabilities.
    • Monitor and report dashboard metrics, including transactional data by lot, site, and market.

    Required Competencies

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills with self-direction and stakeholder management capabilities.
    • Ability to drive change in a team-based collaborative environment.
    • Experience in fast-paced environments with task prioritization to meet deadlines.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Required Education

    • BA or BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

    Professional Experience

    • 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, serialization, or supply chain logistics.
    • At least 2 years of experience in data or data operation-related areas.
    • Strong understanding of dependencies and interfaces between business units, IT, and external partners.

    Technical Expertise

    • Proficiency in SAP or similar traceability ERP systems.
